About
the owner Hi,
I am Anthony Federico Jr. owner of the 2nd
generation “A Federico Painting & Paperhanging Company,”
servicing the South Jersey area since 1980. When giving an
estimate, the most frequently asked question is; how long have
you been in the painting and paperhanging field? In 1977, I
started painting & paperhanging part time as an apprentice
for my fathers company. In 1980 upon graduating from high
school, I began to work full time as a painter/paperhanger for
the company. I continued to work for the company five years
until tragedy struck and my father passed away. In 1985 the
business folded. Being too young to handle the responsibilities
of owning the business, I joined the Philadelphia Painters Union
District Council #21. While as a union member, I perfected my
skills by working on various jobs such as; Limerick Nuclear
Power Plant, Franklin Mills Mall, Woodbridge Mall, Exton Mall,
Nazareth Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center, University of
Pennsylvania Hospital, St. Joseph’s University, Drexel
College, The Provident Nation Bank and Conrail Law Offices to
name a few. Additionally, I participated in many Center City
Philadelphia Office renovations. I
was now a Journeyman!
In
1989, I made the decision to leave the Painters Union and
re-kindle my fathers Company. I graduated from being a
painter/paperhanger to being a full time business owner. Today
after 25 years, the “A. Federico Painting & Paperhanging
Company” continues to achieve excellences by striving for the
highest standards of quality, integrity and service to its
customers. My determination is to innovate, by working jointly
with our customers to produce exactly the services needed to
continue to strengthen our reputation. My
father would have been proud!
